MicfoFig Death - Basic Concepts of Death

"2 and 2 are 4"
Wargaming basics

...Well, if you don't know basic concepts of wargaming, you are screwed, since I'm not going to spend time on the real simple stuff... Learn it somewhere else...

...But from the simple basics, uFD goes off on its own realm.

...The basic idea to remember in the game is that you only need 6 sided dice and that rolling 5 or 6 means you did good... 1-4 means you failed. And just to make things fun, if you roll more 1s than you roll 5 or 6s, you failed real bad....

...In uFD, individual troops are represented not by figs but by "micro" or "stick" figs as shown on the right (a 1x1 cylinder brick with a 1x1 round plate "face" and a 1x1 round plate "helmet").

...In general, 1x1 round bricks represent "normal" units. 1x1 square headlight bricks represent "heavy weapons" troops. However, players can use whatever tricks they want to build their troops so long as all players involved can follow whatever scheme the player uses. Troopers (also called guys (not to be sexist... since troopers can be female in the integrated uFD world, just "guys" is easier to write than "guys and gals")) should be colour coded by "body" or "helmet" to distinguish the sides and units involved.

...All troops must be part of a unit. Units initially consist of between 4 and 8 troops, but can be reduced to just 1 troop by damage. A single troop is still considered a "unit" for the rules. Units are always placed on a 2x4 plate. The plates can be colour coded to distinguish units or factions involved.
